I hope that the space in the 'cloud' will be a sounding board for debate and discussion on all aspects of good photographic practice.
To begin the debate I would like to suggest that with the advance of technology digital photographers are at grave risk in the years to come of loosing access to digital images taken today. Compare this with negatives or glass plates over 100 years old or transparencies taken within the last 15 or 20 years. Regardless of the technology you can still reproduce prints from them all. Will we be able to do that with our digital files?
